Fusion Marine Ltd, part of the award winning Gael Force Group, is well established as one of the leading manufacturers of high quality, maintenance free, professional equipment for marine and freshwater environments all over the world, particularly in the fish farming and hatchery industries.  Fusion Marine has an exciting opportunity for the ideal candidate to join our growing team as our Operations Manager.

Based in our Barcaldine facility which is close to Oban, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company meets its production needs by overseeing management and direct activities in all responsible areas of manufacturing, ensuring we are on schedule, maintaining our high quality standards and cost objectives as expected by our customers. You will be required to effectively generate, develop, expand and market the Fusion Marine Ltd business and services in a dynamic and profitable manner to both new and existing customers while aliasing between the technical department and both internal and external customers as required.

The successful candidate should have:
• Minimum HNC qualification in relevant engineering subject or extensive experience in similar roles.
• Experience with the workshop and outdoor construction environment.
• Computer literate, including word processing and spreadsheet packages.
• Experienced People management skills 
• Time Management skills 
• Full driving licence.
• Experience in Health and safety compliance

• Experienced in risk assessment and method statements techniques
• Experience in the Aquaculture industry
• Forklift certificate
• Health & Safety qualification

In return for working a 40 hour week, Fusion Marine offers a competitive salary, company vehicle, staff discount and a contributory pension scheme. The salary offered will reflect the experience and knowledge that the candidate can bring to this excellent opportunity but will be in the range of £30,000 to £40,000.
